Zelak is a villain who debuts in the graphic novel Haywire. He is a Megalink sent by Makino to Earth, and carried a dangerous virus that he used to tamper with technology on the planet.
History[]
Early life[]
Nothing is known about Zelak's early life, other than he is a part of Makino's armada.
Graphic Novels[]
Haywire[]
Zelak approaches the Elementors shortly after they defeated Max Steel. He shows them a dangerous technological virus, labelled as a "plague" by him, and asks his fellow Ultralinks to take him to the most vulnerable location for infection.
Hours later, Zelak and the Elementors head to an old communication station, where he installs the virus and reveals his intentions of making N-Tek vulnerable and bickers at the four Ultralinks, stating that a simple virus was stronger than the combined might of the Elementors. The virus wreaks havoc on the city, causing technology to go haywire and the Elementors want to attack N-Tek while they are vulnerable, but Zelak refuses, stating that he had to send a progress report.
Zelak contacts Makino and allows the Elementors to inflict damage on the city. He shows them an hologram of a improvised missile and tells them to assemble a total of twelve copies by using the materials of the facility they were in. He watches as the Elementors build the weapon and gives instructions to Air about the final steps of his plan before leaving.
The Elementors are eventually defeated by N-Tek's forces and Zelak appears watching at distance while contacting Makino. He complains about the Elementors, telling his creator that working with them during the attack was a "ill-advised mistake" and suggests to never employ them ever again. He reports his mission as a failure, though Makino disagrees, claiming that the virus attack was meant to send a message to N-Tek about his power.

Appearance[]
Zelak has the same armor as the rest of other Megalinks, but with slight modifications. His colors scheme resembles that of Makino's.

The Elementors[]
- "Invasion tactics. Before an armed assault .. a viral ambush. N-Tek will be stretched thin, trying to contain this as it spreads. One small seed. Deadlier than four Elementors combined."

Trivia[]
