While fighting against Max, Water and Fire decided to fuse themselves and Earth and Air fused as well. They briefly clashed with him until Jim McGrath arrived on the battlefield and neutralized them with a blast of T.U.R.B.O. Energy.
After Metal and Max enter in contact with Makino's headpiece, a giant dome is created that the competitors enter inside. Water and Fire fought against some of Makino's mental projections, but Max eventually won and was forcibly bonded with Makino himself. Afterwards, Water and Fire, alongside with other remanining Ultralinks were glorifying him. They asked how they could serve him and Water and Fire suggested if he wanted some water, but he got angry and blasted them off with an energy sphere and escaped.
Hours later, they accompany Makino as he watches Copper Canyon at distance and comments how much he hates Earth.
While Morphos is trying to prove that the Elementors are wasting their powers by using their own against them, Water and Fire fused themselves to fight against him. However, the villain was proved to be too strong for them.
Superhuman Strength: They are stronger than an average individual, as they were able to take on many of Makino's Clones during the competition.
Superhuman Durability: They were capable of withstanding multiple blows from Makino's mental projections.
Pyrokinesis: Control over fire. They are also capable of controlling fire and water simulteneously.
Hydrokinesis: Control over water. They are also capable of controlling water and fire simulteneously.

As seen in Hot Water, if Water's core is hit by fire and Fire's core is hit by water, it will cause them to be separated.

Water and Fire Elementor gained an action figure named as Hydro Flame Elementor, released in the first half of 2015. By pressing a button on its chest, Elementor's head switches from Fire to Water and vice-versa. It can also fire a projectile.
