Ven-Ghan (sometimes misspelled as VenGhan or Ven Ghan) is an Ultralink Hunter, that was formely a villain, and now an ally introduced on Season 2. His main goal is to defeat every Ultralink and intergalactic criminals in his way, and have revenge on Makino because of his planet being destroyed when he was a child. Ven-Ghan first appeared in Ultralink Invasion Part One, and is voiced by Giles Panton.

History

Ven-Ghan originally lived on a planet named Kaduonn. When Makino and his armada of Evil Ultralinks attacked, they destroyed his planet and later the Alphalink absorbed it, and Ven-Ghan managed to escape, being the only survival of Makino's attack. During a undetermined period of time, Ven-Ghan joined The Black Star Council, and Ragnok trained him. Over time, Ven-Ghan became one of the best hunters of the council, using his incredible gravity powers to track down and capture the intergalactic war criminals.

Years later, The Black Star Council sent Ven-Ghan to capture Steel, since they thought that he killed Ja'em Mk'rah, his partner. While Max Steel was fighting against Miles Dread, Ven-Ghan appears, and creates a portal that sucks Max and Steel to an abandoned warehouse, where they fight but despite that Max stated that Steel wasn't evil, Ven-Ghan knocked him down and ultimately captured Steel. After capturing Steel, Ven-Ghan was about to sent him to The Black Star Council, but Steel broke the Ultralink sphere that he was contained and fell on a hole, which almost consumed most of his energy. While Ven-Ghan was trying to get Steel, Max and C.Y.T.R.O. appear, and they try to defeat Ven-Ghan and get Steel back, but Max starts to overload and almost destroys C.Y.T.R.O.. Eventually, C.Y.T.R.O. finds Steel and gives him to Max, allowing him to escape while Ven-Ghan was attacking with his gun. Later on, Ven-Ghan appears and captures N-Tek Link, preventing Miles Dread of controlling N-Tek's systems, also easily defeating him with his alien tech.

Later on, Ven-Ghan returns and promises that he wouldn't fail on capturing Steel. While Max was using his Turbo Super Mode, Ven-Ghan appears and he is easily knocked down again by Max. However, when Steel wasn't linked with Max, Ven-Ghan captures him but Ultimate Elementor appears, and capture both, leaving Max alone. On Metal Elementor's Makino Destroyer, Ven-Ghan refused to remove Steel from the containment sphere, and Ultimate Elementor decided to torture him until he removes Steel. Despite that Ven-Ghan initially tried to capture Steel, he saves Ven's life by using his T.U.R.B.O. Energy to destroy the control panel, allowing Ven-Ghan to knock down Ultimate Elementor with his gun. After Max appears, Ven-Ghan helps him with his skills and weapons, easily defeating every single Ultralink in their way. After escaping from the Destroyer, Ven-Ghan finally confesses that he may be mistaken by Steel's evil personality, as well the council.

When Makino attacks Earth with is Evil Ultralinks, Ven-Ghan appers to help Max, ironically on the right moment, when Makino was about to finish off Max. After helping Max, Ven-Ghan went to the base of N-Tek, which was about to blow due to a bomb activated by Commander Forge Ferrus while he was being controlled by an Ultralink. The explosion damaged considerably the ship of Ven-Ghan, which interfered on infiltrating the ship of Makino, where Steel was being tortured.

However, Max finds a way to go: using Ven-Ghan's teleportation powers, Max used a N-Tek tank to teletransport the the ship. There, Ven-Ghan suddenly teleports after saying to Max that his mission consisted in capturing Steel, even though that it wasn't the right moment to say that, as Max said. Later on, when Max was overloading with T.U.R.B.O. Energy on the floor of the Makino Destroyer, Ven-Ghan suddenly appears and save Steel, later launching him to Max. While Max was about to fight, Ven-Ghan was confusing Makino by teleporting everywhere and at the same time attacking him, until he knocked down and damaged his teleportation device Ven-Ghan with one of his missiles of his Jet Mode, and sends him to space, but Steel later saves him.

After Makino was successfully defeated by Max's new Turbo Mode, Ven-Ghan went to the tower of THI to help N-Tek in fighting against the Evil Ultralinks, until they fleed when Elementor found out that Makino wasn't answering. Later on, Ven-Ghan removes the Ultralink from Ferrus, and reappers on the top of THI tower alongside with other N-Tek agents celebrating Makino's defeat. He also tricks the Black Star Council saying that Steel was destroyed during the battle against Makino, which makes him stay very happy.

After Makino's Invasion on Earth, Max and Ven-Ghan were patrolling Copper Canyon, capturing every Evil Ultralink possible. When Ven-Ghan finds a group of Ultralinks wandering Copper Canyon, he asks for Max's help to capture them, but when Max came to a dead end, three Evil Ultralinks linked with Max's friends, creating Syd Link, Kirby Link and Butch Link. After discovering that Max's friends were linked, Ven-Ghan tried to stop them, but they were a way too strong. Eventually, after Max remembered after some special moments or manners that his friends had, it made the control of the Ultralink break, allowing Ven-Ghan to unlink them.

After some time, Ven-Ghan is usually seen helping N-Tek in other ways, like when he used his technology to dramatically decrease Max and Steel's size to enter on Toxzon's body.

It is later revealed that Ven-Ghan is now understanding more about the human culture, like jokes and funny videos, like Max and Steel were showing to him, even though that he doens't understand and sees everything in a literal way. The fun is interrupted when Ragnok, one of the most dangerous bounty hunters on the galaxy, who was sent by The Black Star Council after Ven-Ghan's redemption, starts to attack Copper Canyon. While Max was knocked down by Ragnok, Ven-Ghan appears and reveals who that alien was to Max. Eventually, Ven-Ghan is eaten by Ragnok's mechanic lizard and Steel is captured by Ragnok, but Ven-Ghan manages to escape using Dwayne's bike, which was eaten by the same lizard. After realizing that Ven-Ghan and Steel escapes, Ragnok goes after them until a mine, where Ven-Ghan tries to trick Ragnok, but he is almost killed by him.

With his Ultralinks, Ven-Ghan automatically is teletransported to his ship, and Steel stays alone on the mine. While Max's Turbo Jet was destroyed by Ragnok and C.Y.T.R.O. was destroyed, Ven-Ghan luckly appears and fights against him, eventually managing to defeat him with his own capture cube. However, Ragnok esacapes with when he activates the auto destruction mode of his mechanic lizard. Later on, Ven-Ghan appears on Max's appartment, where he laughs about a misunderstood joke.

On Makino's third attempt on absorbing Earth, this time bringing the Alphalink, Ven-Ghan appears helping N-Tek by using his powers to defeat the Ultralink monsters that were dominating Copper Canyon. When Makino was about to shoot a powerful laser, Max asked for Ven-Ghan's help to create a large portal that would absorb the laser and later return to Makino, which would cause a considerable damage on the shield of the Alphalink. Later on, when Max Steel was almost killed by Makino and teletransported to the vacuum of space, Ven-Ghan goes to find them after he says to Ferrus that he caught a minor sight of T.U.R.B.O. Energy. After finding Max and Steel, Ven-Ghan uses a portal to teletransport Max and Steel to the Alphalink to beat Makino once for all. When Makino was defeated, Ven-Ghan appeared on the Daedelus Plataform celebrating the victory against Makino.

Personality

"Ven-Ghan is an interesting character. His home world was destroyed at a young age and he spent his life training to bring his enemies to justice. He has a steely sense of honor, which can be rigid and uncompromising. And once he's set his mind on something it's next to impossible to change it. But underneath it all he still has heart. He has a purpose and drive propelled by the pain of the loss of his loved ones. So...he could become an ally, but Max or Steel would have to do something extraordinary to make that happen.". - Giles Panton

The Ven-Ghan's home planet was destroyed when he was a child and has spent his life training to bring those responsible to justice, regardless of their power and how unstoppable they are. This shows a great sense of honor but Ven-Ghan, may end up being rigid or he can not commit to something and that makes once one goal in mind nothing can stop until it is fixed.
