The Turbofied Dread Naughts or Turbo Charged Dread Naughts are upgraded versions of the Dread Naughts powered by Max's T.U.R.B.O. Energy. They debuted in the New World Disorder.

New World Disorder

After Dread captures Max Steel with Jason's help, the duo are trapped in a device that forces them to produce more T.U.R.B.O. Energy than usual in order to power up the new Dread Naughts. Max eventually manages to free himself from the device, but Dread activates missiles that would blow up Copper Canyon.

At the same time, the Dread Naughts are activated to distract Max and Steel, who were easily knocked down by them, until they activated Turbo Cannon Spike Mode, which successfully destroy the army. Even with the robots reduced to pieces, Dread still wanted their remnants to rebuild them, but they started to explode due to the fact that T.U.R.B.O. Energy have the tendency to overload and explode, thus eliminating all pieces that Dread and Jason got.

Abilities

• Superhuman Strength: According to Dread, the turbofied Dread Naughts are two times more powerful than before.
• T.U.R.B.O. Energy Lasers: They are able to launch lasers made out of T.U.R.B.O. Energy through their eyes. The lasers were powerful enough to take down Max many times.

Appearance

They are similar to the other Dread Naughts built on Season 2, but instead of having red traces in their bodies, they have glowing blue traces. The design of the traces are slightly different from their real version, being more predominant.
