Turbo Hunter Mode is Max and Steel's twenty-third Turbo Mode. It was created to cure La Fiera, Tempestra and C.Y.T.R.O., who were taken over by Mortum and turned into zombies. Its only appearance is in Team Turbo Fusion-Tek.

Team Turbo Fusion-Tek

After linking with Steel, Max transforms into Turbo Hunter Mode. The Ultralink creates three transceivers for Max to implant in La Fiera, Tempestra and C.Y.T.R.O. to free them from Mortum's control.

Max initially went after La Fiera. Using a blaster especially made for the occasion, he shot the transceiver at Alex and vanished. He then went after C.Y.T.R.O., who noticed he was there. Max was attacked by the robot's wrecking ball, but managed to implant the second transceiver nonetheless. He explored the sewers hoping to find Tempestra, but she attacks them first. She manages to get the attention of the rest of Team Turbo, who group up to destroy Max. Eventually, McGrath manages to implant the third and last transceiver. Steel links with his blaster, transforming it into a staff. Max channels his T.U.R.B.O. energy into the transceivers, successfully freeing his friends from Mortum's control.

As he explains the next steps on his plan of defeating Mortum, Max realizes that Team Turbo had developed a mental link, causing them to say things at the same time. Their attention is caught by several tendrils of white energy on the sky, of which Alex reveals that it was Mortum's "great feeding". Max transforms into Turbo Prime Mode and head to the villain's temple alongside Team Turbo.

Abilities

• Stealth: Max's furtiveness and stealth is increased, allowing him to quiet and effectively hunt his enemies. His armor feature dark colors, allowing him to blend with dark environments with ease.

Arsenal

• Blaster/Staff: Max obtains a medium-sized blue blaster which he used to implant transceivers on his friends to save them. By linking with it, Steel can upgraded the blaster into a staff, allowing Max to channel his T.U.R.B.O. energy and cure techno viruses.
• Transceivers: Steel developed three transceivers in order to cure La Fiera, Tempestra and C.Y.T.R.O..
