Toxic Morphos is a three-part mini episode released in 2016.
Summary[]
Morphos freeds Toxzon and gives life to a new supervillain. Now it's up to Max and Steel to take them down.
Plot[]
While heading to N-Tek, Max Steel is escorting a N-Tek Jump Jet and asks to Commander Forge Ferrus what exactly they were taking, of which he replies that it was something partircularly nasty. Max is attacked by Morphos, who claims that he wanted what was inside of that jet. The hero activate Turbo Strength Mode and punches the creature, causing him to fall to the ground, and then activates Turbo Flight Mode. Morphos quickly gets up and attacks Max with a Strength Mode punch, disorienting him and allowing the villain to invade the jet. Max recomposes himself and attempts to stop him, but Morphos eventually invade the vehicle and frees Toxzon, who reveals his intentions of having revenge against Max.
Toxzon says goodbye to Max Steel while charging a toxin ball, but Morphos attacks him and claims that destroying Max Steel would be his pleasure. He attempts to steal Toxzon's new toxin, but the villain fights back and pushes the three out of the jet. After hitting the ground, Toxzon and Morphos are about to clash when Max activates Turbo Hydro Heat Mode to push them away. Morphos proceeds to activate Water and Fire Elementors' powers and easily takes down Max. He proceeds to steal Toxzon's powers and creates a giant creature named Super Mud, who roars at Max Steel.
Morphos claims that he would finally prove himself as the greatest vilalin of them all by destroying Max Steel, while Toxzon is enraged that his powers were stolen. Super Mud easily beats Max and Toxzon approaches him, mesmerized by his creation, despite it ignores the villain and punches him away. Max and Steel activate Turbo Cannon Spike Mode and charge at the creature, managing to deal a considerable amount of damage. Morphos uses the super mud to reconstitute the creature to destroy Max, telling him that his creation couldn't be stopped. Steel thinks of a plan and decides to tease Toxzon by saying that he couldn't steal his creation like that, of which Toxzon agrees and proceeds to create his own Super Mud titan, while Max tells him that Toxzon was going to take his place as the greatest villain. The two giants collide, causing a massive explosion that destroys both creatures and takes down Toxzon and Morphos. The N-Tek jet approaches them while Max tells Steel that his plan had worked.

Trivia[]
- It's unknown if Toxic Morphos is canon to the series, as it contradicts the ending of Maximum Morphos. In the latter, after the titular villain's defeat, he states that he is no longer able to adapt to any power and that he is stuck on his default form. In the mini episode, however, he still has his powers and has the ability of fusing them.
