The toxic animals are a group of minor characters in Max Steel. They were once healthy animals who were infected by Toxzon's radioactive waste and turned into mutants. Only mutated piranhas and a toxic seagull are known to exist. They debuted in Gone Fishin'.

History

Season 1

Gone Fishin'

While Vin and Dwayne were fishing, they caught a toxic piranha. It ate their fishing rod.

After the ocean began to be infected by radioactive waste, N-Tek sent Max, Steel, C.Y.T.R.O., Jefferson and Kat to investigate it. They are attacked by a shoal of mutated piranhas. During the combat, a skeleton of a piranha emerged to the surface of the ocean. A seagull saw it and ate it, causing it to become a radioactive animal as well. Meanwhile, a giant-sized piranha emerged and began to chase Max and Steel. They were about to be eaten when they were saved by Toxzon, who did it in order to retrieve Fishy.

Pick Your Poison

The seagull was spotted heading to its nest while N-Tek was being attacked by Ultimate Elementor.

Later on, Max Steel was about to shoot Toxzon's hypnosis serum to Ultimate Elementor's core when the seagull accidentally crashed on him, causing him to fall down.

Abilities

• Superhuman Bite: Toxic piranhas have a powerful bite, being capable of rapidly eating a fishing rod. They were capable of causing small amounts of damage to Max's Steel Suit as well.
• Superhuman Speed: The mutated piranhas can quickly swim in the water.
• Flight: The mutated seagull can fly.

Appearance

The toxic piranhas have a dark shade of green for their skin and glow a vivid green light. They have white eyes and irregular spiky teeth.

The toxic seagull glows vivid green. Aside from this detail, it looks like a normal exemplar of the species.
