The Final Countdown Part One is the twenty-fifth episode of the second season and the fifty-first episode of Max Steel. It was written by Thomas Krajewski and directed by Ben Anderson. It was released in December 22, 2014 on Netflix.
Synopsis[]
The invasion begins with Makino and his armada positioned in space with the first wave approaching Earth's atmosphere. All hands on deck!

- The title of the episode could be a reference to Europe's The Final Countdown.
- The episode's title would originally be Turbo Nova Part One and Into the Darkness Part One.
- An early synopsis of this episode reveals that Mega-Elementor would have attacked the Daedalus Platform, and, in order to stop him, Max would have obtained a new mode named as Turbo Nova Mode. This idea was evidently discarded, with Turbo Nova Mode being featured in the animated film The Wrath of Makino and Mega-Elementor having a minor role in the finished episode.[1]

- Before being shot by the Turbo Star, Ultimate Earth Elementor's model is shown instead of Mega Earth Elementor.
