Steel Defense was a game from Max Steel's Official Website released in 2014. It featured twelve levels and consisted in defeating a total of 300 Evil Ultralinks to achieve 300,000 points.

At some point in 2020, the game was removed from the official website.

Gameplay[]

The instructions of the game

In this game, the player takes control of Steel, who can shoot blue projectiles. Throughout the game, he faces many evil Ultralinks. There are three types on the game: red Stealth Ultralinks (the weakest), purple Stinger Ultralinks (slightly more powerful and durable than the Stealth) and blue Fighter Ultralinks, who is the strongest and most durable out of the three. Each phase consists in defeating a determined quantity of Ultralinks established by the game. As it progresses, the quantity of the aliens gradually increases and the Ultralinks get faster. Steel counts with a 5-units life bar and can be only damaged by red energy spheres.

There are other allies present on the game, such as Maxwell and C.Y.T.R.O.. However, they are not there to disturb the player, only to help them. If they are hit, the player will lose a certain quantity of points.
