History
- This section is incomplete. Help Max Steel Reboot Wiki by expanding it.
Berto grew up along with more five siblings, four boys and a girl, known as Rayne Martinez. He was one of the smartest kids in the schools where he studied: he finished primary at five, school at nine and at twelve he graduated. During an undetermined period of time, Berto joined N-Tek and replaced Jim as the scientist. When Max was introduced to N-Tek, Berto became more active than he was before, creating weapons and vehicles to Max and Steel use and also C.Y.T.R.O., a powerful robot previously controlled by him.

Come Together Part One
Come Together Part Two
When Max was about to train on N-Tek's base, Berto released the first model of C.Y.T.R.O. that he created, which Max defeated with ease after activating Turbo Strength Mode. Later on, Berto sent other robots similar to C.Y.T.R.O. that Max initially had some difficulties to destroy them, but when Steel activated Turbo Flight Mode, Max destroyed them with T.U.R.B.O. Energy rays that instantly exploded them. Despite Berto's efforts, the robots were easily defeated by Max and Steel, and he consequently got angry, breaking the N-Tek Tablet that he was controlling the robots.
Come Together Part Three
Berto scanned THI's buidling and found a duct that only Steel could enter without being noticed by the security. After Ferrus and other agents went to Copper Canyon, Berto stayed on the base but helped them to discover what were they dealing with.
Later on, it was revealed that Berto improved C.Y.T.R.O. and created a more detailed version that carried heavy weaponry. C.Y.T.R.O. fought against Fire and Earth Elementor, but he was eventually defeated by them.
Cleaning House
After Max failed in defeating a Sewer Monster that Berto created as a part of the training system, he appeared alongside with Forge saying that it was embarassing being defeated by a sewer monster.
Secret Identity Crisis
When Max and Steel arrived on N-Tek's base, Berto used his newest invention: the Holo Bot, that was copying Forge's appearance. Steel later made a joke with Forge saying that he had more hair in the ears and Berto turned off the robot after he realized Steel was dealing with the real Forge.
Later on, Berto used the Holo Bot to confirm to Dread and other students that Maxwell wasn't Max Steel. Max asked for Berto's help to say to Sydney that he really liked her while using the Holo Bot. Despite Berto, Ferrus then accidentally press a button that makes the Holo Bot dance in a peculiar way.
Season 2
Ultralink Invasion Part One
Based in the Ultralink Invasion, Berto created a simulation with lots of Ultralink Monsters and a Makino Destroyer that Max defeated with ease with his improved abilities and Turbo Modes.
When a trio of Ultralinks start to attack Copper Canyon, Max is sent but is easily surpassed by them, until Berto came with C.Y.T.R.O. and launched the Turbo Lash, which he created based on the grappling laser of the Makino Destroyer of the training simulator. Eventually, with Berto's help, Max managed to defeat the Ultralinks. After Dread attacked Max and he mysteriously disappeared, N-Tek's forces arrived and Berto started to search Max.

Reprogrammed
After Berto upgraded the Turbo Cycle, he asked for Max's help to test it. When Steel warned Max about Sydney's condition (accelerated heart beat, blood pressure to the roof and adrenaline levels rapidly increasing), Max asked to Berto how fast the Turbo Cycle was, and he said that was faster than flying. Eventually, after Max was unexpectedly linked wih an Ultralink, the Turbo Cycle was destroyed and Berto got disappointed.
Later on, Max and Steel switch their bodies and ask for Berto's help to revert the situation, telling him what happened. Berto later managed to create the cure while the high school dance was happening shortly after Mega Elementor's crushing defeat.
