Definitely Fear the Reaper[]
After Prism Link pick up a source of Takonian energy at the Copper Canyon History Museum, Mega-Elementor sends out a pair of Ultralinks to investigate. Arriving at the place, the Ultralinks spot a group of teenagers (Maxwell, Sydney and Kirby) with residual energy on their hands. In order to find the original source, the Ultralink duo bonds with a pair of electronic grim reaper statues located at the front of the history museum. Upon the completion of the linking process, one of them notes that the bonding was defective due to faulty circuitry. Regardless, the other states that they couldn't fail their lord Makino. They then proceed to search the museum.
The Reapear Links silently stalk the group. They eventually attack Kirby, who manages to escape from them. Afterwards, the blue Reaper Link comments about his frustration about their defective hosts, but his comrade states that they needed to capture their prey. They later on attack Sydney, but are unable to do anything due to their faulty hosts. The blue colored Ultralink suggests them to absorb energy in order to fix their circuitry. After doing so, their power are augmented and they become completely solid. The Reaper Links continue with their attack, and Sydney calls Max for help using her phone. He, alongside Kirby, head to her location and encounter the Reaper Links.
The blue Reaper Link tells his comrade to take Sydney to the medieval exposition. Meanwhile, the purple Reaper Link deals with Maxwell and Kirby. He is temporarily incapacitated after McGrath uses an extinguisher on him, allowing him and Kirby to escape. Max tells his friend to escape and stays behind to fight against the Reaper Link using his new Turbo Mode: Turbo Spike Mode. The two engage in battle, with the Reaper Link having the upper arm due to his ability of becoming intangible at will. Meanwhile, the other Reaper Link captures Kirby. After Max activates Turbo Stealth Mode to trick the Ultralink villain and becomes invisible, he asks if he was too scared to fight and tells him that he would destroy him in case he returned.
The Reaper Link reunites with his comrade at the medieval exposition. The blue Reaper Link interrogates Kirby about their source of Takonian energy, who has no idea as to what they are talking about. He threatens to kill Sydney, but Max intervenes and reveals to have the source: a Takion Rock. He engages in a battle against the duo, but is unable to hit them. Max realizes that they needed to be solid in order to get the rock and uses this to his advantage. They are eventually defeated after being hit by multiple spike shards of Max's Turbo Spike Mode, causing a large explosion.
After their battle, the group leave the history museum. While Max and Steel leave, the two Reaper Links emerge from the floor, revealing that they were still alive.
