Nexus (organization)

The Nexus legion is a mysterious organization of technologic super villains led by Lord Nexus. They want to permanently disable the technology on Earth and force people to join their society. They debuted in Turbo-Charged.

History[]

Nothing is known about the origins of the Nexus. Their members were working in an extensive project involving Maxwell McGrath's T.U.R.B.O. Energy with the intent of exploring its maximum potential. Dr. Prometheus Halifax seemed to be leading the project, and according to him, they have been studying the energy for years. The product of their research was the Terror Energy, which the Nexus legion used in an attempt of disrupting the technology of Copper Canyon.

After Terrorax's defeat at the hands of Max Steel, he recruits new members for the Nexus and returns with the Pantheon, a massive flying fortress capable of annihilating entire cities. However, he is once again stopped by Max Steel and his Team Turbo, this time meeting his demise.

The human members of the organization wears a mask (generally black, white or silver) with a stretched letter N on the region of the eyes.
The Nexus legion bears a resemblance with the Court of Owls from the Batman franchise.

- Both are an anonymous type of organization that were working from the shadows.
- Both wish to take over the world.
- Both appear well dressed.
- Both worship the hierarchy of the organization.
The motto of the Nexus legion is slightly similar to that of the Anonymous ("We Are Anonymous. We Are Legion. We Do Not Forgive. We Do Not Forget. Expect Us.").
In Turbo-Warriors, Terrorax comments about the Nexus' "long-awaited ascension", which seems to point out that the legion has existed for some time and they already have been stopped by someone other than Max Steel.
