“ That fourth Ultralink has bonded with the N-Tek mainframe, all of your drones are under my control! Playtime is over!
—Miles Dread, Ultralink Invasion Part Two
N-Tek Link (unofficial name) was a one-time villain introduced in the second season of Max Steel. It was the result of a Stealth Ultralink bonding with N-Tek's mainframe system. It debuted in Ultralink Invasion Part One.
History[]
Season 2[]
Ultralink Invasion Part One[]
During a meteor shower, Makino sent four Ultralinks to Miles Dread. While three of them managed to link with objects, the fourth was later captured by N-Tek.
Ultralink Invasion Part Two[]
The Ultralink, in its pod form, was patched into N-Tek's mainframe system, allowing them to extract data from the alien. Berto discovered that Miles was planning an incursion and that the Ultralink had initiated a countdown. Assuming that it was when the invasion was going to begin, N-Tek headed to Dread's mountain lair with the coordinates that the Ultralink had provided to stop Miles.
Eventually, the Ultralink activates itself and bonds to N-Tek's mainframe system. After turning into a giant technological monstrosity, the N-Tek Link heads to Dread's mountain lair so Miles could keep it for himself. The Ultralink gave Dread the control of N-Tek's Jump Jets and their Striker Drones, which he used to attack Max Steel and the N-Tek agents. Max and Steel later split up to take down Miles and the Ultralink. However, Ven-Ghan intervenes and uses his technology to capture the Ultralink. Once he imprisoned it, N-Tek's systems went back to normal.
The Ultralink was sent to The Black Star Council to be judged by its crimes, although its fate remains unknown.
Appearance[]
Before the bonding, it was a regular, four-armed red Stealth Ultralink. Its pod was gray.
After the link, its energy core is located on the center of its body, surrounded by an angular armor featuring N-Tek's signature colors (black, white and green) with the addition of a fourth color: light blue. The rest of its body is light green and is holographic. It has a pair of larger legs on its front and a pair of smaller ones on its back. It has various attachments on its body with letters on them.
Abilities[]
- Linking Abilities: Like others of its kind, its initial form allowed it to bond with anything and weaponize its host.
- Float: Like others of its kind, it could float mid-air in its initial form. It retained this ability after the linking.
- Superhuman Speed: It obtains enhanced speed after bonding with N-Tek's systems.
Arsenal[]
- N-Tek Vehicles: The N-Tek Link can remotely control N-Tek's Jump Jets, R.O.O.Cs (tanks) and Striker Drones.
