From now on, we fight as one: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Metal! We are Mega-Elementor!
—Metal Elementor to his brothers, The Ultralink Hunter

Mega-Elementor is a recurring antagonist introduced in the second season of Max Steel. It is the fusion of Metal Elementor with Ultimate Elementor, with the latter being the fusion of the other four Elementors. Mega-Elementor debuted in The Ultralink Hunter and is voiced by three voice actors, with Trevor Devall providing Metal's voice, Andrew Francis providing Air and Fire's voices, and Brian Drummond providing Earth and Water's voices.

History[]

Season 2[]

The Ultralink Hunter[]

After realizing that Ultimate Elementor would let Metallak perish in his last battle against Max Steel, he assigned him the mission of capturing the hero within 24 hours. Much to his surprise, Elementor managed to capture Steel and Ven-Ghan, who later escaped. After failing, Metal claims that Ultimate Elementor would suffer the consequences for his failure and annexes him using his Megalink powers, creating Mega-Elementor.

Journey to the Center of Copper Canyon[]

By Makino's request, Mega Metal Elementor sends out Prism Link to spy on Miles Dread.

Hot Zone[]

Mega Metal Elementor picks up a T.U.R.B.O. Energy source at an island and believes that Max Steel is the source. Mega Air Eleemntor tells the troops to assemble, as this would be the perfect opportunity to ambush the hero. He later divises a plan for his soldiers. Mega Earth claims that it was rather complicated, although Mega Metal assures that it was foolproof and that he would not suffer their insolence. Alongside a large army, Mega-Elementor heads to the island.

The Ultralinks attack the island, although Max Steel manages to overpower them. Mega Metal Elementor decides to intervene and mixes Water and Air's powers to freeze the entire island. Max attempts to defeat the villain by using Turbo Heat Mode, but Mega Fire uses his powers to manipulate the flames of the mode and send it back to the hero, causing him to revert to his Turbo Base Mode. Max then activates Turbo Flight Mode and Turbo Clone Mode to swarm Elementor. He decides to separate themselves to fight against Max.

Some point after Metal Elementor's defeat, he captured the other four Elementors and reabsorbed them into his being to reform his Mega-Elementor form.

The Legend of Ja'em Mk'rah[]

Makino scolds Mega Metal Elementor for continuously failing him, although he assures that he will conquer Earth like he did with other countless planets. Their conversation is interrupted by Blast, Chomp and Prism, with Blast stating that their mission had been a success. Mega Metal tells Makino that they had managed to leave Max Steel defenseless.

WIth Steel being unable to control Max's power, the Ultralinks begin to pick up faint signals of T.U.R.B.O. energy on Copper Canyon. Blast, Chomp and Prism eventually find Max and Steel at the Copper Canyon mountains, but are met with resistance from N-Tek. Mega Metal commands to destroy them and bring Steel's carcass so it would serve as a trophy for Makino. However, the Ultralinks are eventually defeated by Max and N-Tek and Mega-Elementor retreats.

Mega Metal Elementor later contacts Makino and promises that he would not fail him again. The warlord states that he would take control of Metal's Makino Destroyers personally. Mega Metal asks how, as he was light years away, of which he simply states that he would be on Earth sooner than Elementor thought.

Makino Strikes Part One[]

Mega Metal Elementor, Miles Dread and other Ultralink soldiers greet Makino after his arrival. The warlord reveals his plans of crushing Max Steel, and sends out Mega-Elementor and Miles Dread on a mission to ambush Forge Ferrus and Ultralink him. After successfully doing so, Mega-Elementor, Miles Dread and a large army of Ultralink soldiers and Dread Naughts invade N-Tek's mountain base.

After Forge successfully activates a bomb to destroy the base, Mega-Elementor and the other Ultralink soldiers leave the facility.

Makino Strikes Part Two[]

Mega-Elementor, Forge Link and Miles Dread watches the remains of N-Tek's base. The commander reports the progress of the mission to Makino, who commands them to attack the THI building with everything they had.

Mega-Elementor, Forge Link, Miles Dread and an army of Dread Naughts head to the THI tower, where a battle ensues between them and N-Tek's forces. After Makino's defeat at the hands of Max Steel, Mega-Elementor reveals that he had lost contact with their leader and commands his troops to leave.

My Best Friend is an Ultralink[]

At the Makino Destroyer orbiting Earth, Mega Metal tells Blast, Chomp and Prism that Makino was extremely angry due to his defeat. With the use of a locator, he spots several Ultralinks remaining at Copper Canyon and sends out his troops to recover them. He warns them, however, stating that if they failed, there would be consequences.

The Ultralink squadron fails to obtain the Ultralinks and Mega-Elementor scolds them. He remembers them about what he said about their failure and throws Chomp Link on the vacuum of space, stating that there would be no more mistakes.

Definitely Fear the Reaper[]

Prism informs Mega-Elementor that he had picked up a source of T.U.R.B.O. energy at the Copper Canyon History Museum. He supposes that it could be Max Steel, although Prism denies as the energy signature did not match. Regardless, Mega Metal wanted to know what the source was and decides to send a pair of Ultralinks to investigate.

Torbolt The Terrible[]

Mega Metal is supervising a trio of Ultralinks in their first mission. They begin to attack several N-Tek R.O.C.C.s, until Max Steel intervenes. Mega Fire throws a large fireball at the hero and escapes alongside the other Ultralink trainees.

At the Makino Destroyer, Mega Metal scolds two of the Ultralink trainees and compliments the third, claiming that he was formidable and merciless. He asks his name, of which he replies that it was Torbolt, and tells that the other two Ultralinks could learn a lot with him. He tells them that they should be as terrible as Torbolt as they needed to prepare Earth for Makino to consume it. He later watches as the Ultralinks train their shooting skills in a simulator and complains about their abilities. Torbolt accidentally bumps into one of his comrades and begins to spin and shoot at the same time, causing him to hit every target. Mega Metal once again compliments Torbolt and reveals that the trio were going to be sent to Copper Canyon once again for another mission. Before Torbolt goes, Mega Metal tells him that he expected great things from him and states that he would be rewarded if he did well.

Torbolt later studies Steel, as he wanted to know how he broke free from Makino's control. Mega Metal approaches him and compliments him for his efforts and comments about Steel, stating that he lacked their cruelty and that he liked humanity. However, he was sure that Torbolt would be the one to destroy Steel. Torbolt later heads to Earth to talk with him. Mega Metal watches from a monitor at the Makino Destroyer, initially believing that he was going to ambush and destroy the Steel. After he asks him how he had broken free from Makino, Mega Metal realizes that he was deceived and has a fit of rage. He sends out his soldiers to bring him Torbolt and Steel.

After Blast and the other Ultralink soldiers fail, Mega-Elementor decides to face Torbolt and Steel personally. While Max and Steel try to link up, Torbolt distracts Mega-Elementor. Mega Metal reveals how disappointed he was in Torbolt, stating that he wanted him to become a general like him. Elementor is ultimately defeated by Max and Torbolt's combined efforts and retreats.

Reprogrammed[]

At the Makino Destroyer, Mega-Elementor reveals a new Ultralink soldier, X376, that would personally deliver a reconfiguring virus to Steel. After doing so, the Ultralink contacts Mega-Elementor, who activates the virus.

Rather than reconfiguring Steel, the virus malfunctioned and caused them to switch bodies. Max, as Steel, forgot to keep his T.U.R.B.O. energy levels in check, allowing Elementor and the Ultralinks to locate them. Blast, Prism and Elementor head to a parking lot and ambush Max Steel. However, Elementor is ultimately defeated by the hero, who uses his Turbo Rocket Mode to blast him directly into the Makino Destroyer, leading to his defeat.

The Final Countdown Part Two[]

In an attempt of stopping Max Steel from reaching Makino, Mega-Elementor attempted to stop the hero. However, his separate personalities began to argue about who should destroy the hero, allowing him to blast them with the Turbo Star and sending Mega-Elementor into space. At the same time, they were divided back into their individual forms.

Animated Films[]

Team Turbo[]

Metal and Water Elementor fuse with Firestorm Elementor to form Mega-Elementor. However, he is eventually defeated by a combined attack from them.

Abilities[]

  • Superhuman Strength: Being the giant-sized fusion of four Ultralinks and a Megalink, Mega-Elementor is much stronger than an average individual.
  • Superhuman Durability: Elementor's body is highly durable, being able to withstand powerful attacks from Max Steel and returning harmless to battle. For example, he survived after a powerful T.U.R.B.O-charged blast of Max Steel's Turbo Rocket Mode, which threw him directly onto a Makino Destroyer in full force.
  • Unlimited Stamina: By being an Ultralink, Mega-Elementor can fight during long periods without needing to recover.
  • Elemental Manipulation: Mega-Elementor can create, shape and manipulate five elements of nature: fire, water, earth, air and metal, with each corresponding to one Elementor. He can control two or more elements at the same time.
    • Ferrokinesis: Mega-Elementor possess control over metal from Metal Elementor.
      • Weapon Creation: Like Metal Elementor's primal form, Mega-Elementor can project a saw or a mace on his hands to fight his enemies. He briefly used it in Torbolt the Terrible.
    • Geokinesis: Mega-Elementor possess control over earth from Earth Elementor. He can manipulate earthen materials, being capable of creating large spiky columns from the ground and throw rock projectiles at his foes.
      • Terrain Swimming: Mega-Elementor inherits Earth's ability of drilling underground, allowing him to quickly go from one place to another.
    • Aerokinesis: Mega-Elementor possess control over air from Air Elementor. He can form an hurricane around his targets, blow a strong air current at his foes and release a large air shockwave.[1]
      • Near-Intangibility: Due to the fact that Mega-Elementor's body is made out of air, it cannot be hit by anything solid.[2]
      • Flight: Mega-Elementor inherits Air's ability of flight. It begins with him forming an hurricane around himself and using it to move himself.
    • Pyrokinesis: Mega-Elementor possess control over fire from Fire Elementor. He can launch fireballs through his mouth or fists.
    • Hydrokinesis: Mega-Elementor possess control over water from Water Elementor. He can launch large water projectiles at a target and project water out of thin air.
      • Ice Generation: Elementor can freeze entire places by combining Water and Air Elementors' powers, as seen in Hot Zone.
  • Separation: The Mega-Elementor body can separate into individual Elementors.
  • Synchronization: Unlike Ultimate Elementor, who initially switched from one Elementor to another Elementor during inconvenient times, Mega-Elementor is more stable as Metallak managed to lock the other Ultralinks, preventing them from suddenly taking control. As stated by Earth Elementor in Reprogrammed, Metal Elementor rarely allows them to fight.

Weaknessess[]

  • Energy Core: Mega-Elementor's weak point is located on his head, where the five Ultralink/Megalink cores are located. If it his it by a strong attack, Elementor will instantly faint.

Appearance[]

Mega-Elementor is like a spiky, more savage looking and metallic version of Ultimate Elementor with notable changes on the armor.

Mega-Elementor has four spikes protruding from his head, sharp eyes, five Ultralink/Megalink cores located on the forehead region and large, spiky teeth. He is a giant, muscular four-armed monster with sharp armor plates on his chest, abdomen and crotch. He has spiky protrusions on his spine, shoulders, forearms, thighs and knees. He has clawed hands, double-jointed feet with three clawed toes and a large tail that split in two towards the end, with its tip having spiky protrusions. Additionally, Mega-Elementor also has segmented lines on his neck, forearms and thighs.

Like Ultimate Elementor, Mega-Elementor's design suffers slight modifications depending on Elementor is controlling the body.

  • Metal's body has a metallic appearance to it, with his armored parts being golden-colored;
  • Air's body is made out of wind, his armored parts are gray-colored and he has a "steam" coming from his body;
  • Fire's body emanates flames and is completely orange, his armored parts are dark orange;
  • Water's body is made out of water and his armored parts are dark blue;
  • Earth's body is brown, having a rocky aspect to it and his armored parts are black;

Trivia[]

  • Before Mega-Elementor appeared in the series, many fans already had speculated that Metallak would fuse with the rest of the Elementors.
  • Metal Elementor gave the name of Mega-Elementor. The "Mega" from his name comes from the word "Megalink", as Metallak is a one.
  • Design-wise, the Elementors get more akin to their classic counterpart.
  • In the second season, Mega-Elementor was mainly spoken through Metal Elementor, but in Team Turbo, all five Elementors speak at the same time for Mega-Elementor.
