Makino Tank Mode is Makino's second transformation. He gains shoulder and arm-mounted cannons and tank wheels. It debuted in Makino Strikes Part Two.

Makino Strikes Part Two[]
After infiltrating the Makino Destroyer, Max attempts to run over Makino with a N-Tek R.O.C.C., but the villain uses his powers to tear apart the vehicle and merge its parts with his body, thus obtaining a new battle mode. He watches as McGrath agonizes thanks to his T.U.R.B.O. Energy overloading and comments that he found it strange that Max had so much energy yet he needed Steel's help to control it. He then commands his minions to prepare the Alphalink.

Makino activates his Tank Mode during his battle against Maxwell.
Abilities[]
- Superhuman Conditions
- Superhuman Strength: Makino is much stronger than an average individual.
- Near-Invulnerability: Makino is shown to be extremely durable in combat, being capable of withstanding powerful blows from Max's Turbo Rocket Mode.
- Superhuman Speed: Makino has wheels attached to his feet, allowing to quickly travel from one place to another.
- Cannons: Makino has a pair of cannons attached to his shoulders and forearms. They can shoot powerful yellow projectiles.
- Technokinesis: Makino retains his ability of controlling, levitating and tearing apart technology.
Appearance[]
Makino's appearance remains quite similar to his main form, however he has tank parts attached to various parts of his body and a pair of large cannons attached to his forearms and back. He has green armored parts on his shoulders, torso, thighs and feet. His feet are also larger and have wheels attached to their back.
