After obtaining samples of Maxwell McGrath's T.U.R.B.O. power, Terrorax contacts lord Nexus to inform the progress of his mission. Using a machine to synthesize their own Terror Energy, Terrorax requests Nexus' permission to carry on with their mission, of which he allows.
After Terrorax's battle with Max Steel, the former contacts Nexus, who scolds him for underestimating the hero's tenacity. He presents the solution to their problems: a trio of deadly super-powered warriors named Team Terror.
Following Terrorax's defeat at the hands of Max Steel, the Nexus operatives recover his emaciated body. Terrorax promises he'd rise again, and once he did, there would be war.
