Hero-Man, also known as Hero-Dude, is a minor character introduced in the first season of Max Steel. He is the fictional main protagonist of the animated series of the same name and has a sidekick named Laser-Lass. Hero-Man debuted in Supermania and is voiced by Lee Tockar.

History

Season 1

Supermania

In an episode of the series, Hero-Man and Laser-Lass are facing Cobrassaurus, who was destroying the city with his "mortal venom". The hero flies at the monster's direction, but seemingly loses the fight. Cobrassaurus attacks the city, but rather than destroying it, he restores it. Hero-Man reveals he had injected him with an anti-venom and leaves, stating that he had done his inquiries.

Season 2

Digital Meltdown

In order to distract Steel from his videogame addiction, Max switches channels and finds one in which Hero-Man is airing. Max claims it was one of his favorites episodes, in which Kid Scissorface cuts Hero-Man's hair and he loses his powers.

Max Steel: The Dawn of Morphos

Hero-Man appears in a billboard, which Max crashes through after being thrown by Morphos across Copper Canyon.

Appearance

Hero-Man is a tall adult man with a muscular body type. He has short brown hair and wears a light blue uniform with the letters "HM" stamped on his chest, a red cape, blue gloves, blue trunks and blue boots.

In Dawn of Morphos, Hero-Man wears an orange and teal uniform.

Trivia

• Hero-Man is a parody of DC's Superman. His quote "Ascend, ascend and defend!" is a nod to the character's "Up, up and away!".
