"Go Turbo" is a song featured in Max Steel. It was written by Cole Plante, J. Plante and E. Lewis.
Production[]
According to Cole Plante in an interview, he described the song as "very, very fast-paced, very energetic, kinda like in the original series" and compared it with the score of the series, saying that it combined with the show's "fighting, explosiveness and excitedness". [1]
Cole talked about his creative process in a behind the scenes video. He stated that he usually draws inspiration straight out of his head or plays around with his instruments to compose his pieces. In the case of Go Turbo, he said that it was different than usual as the series served as a visual incentive, and as such it helped him during his creative process.[2]
Music Video[]
The music video of Go Turbo features footage of Cole Plante at a concert and various action scenes from the series. At certain points, a low-poly illustration of DJ is imposed on the scenes of the show.
Release[]
Go Turbo was released in 2013. It was broadcasted on Disney XD during commercial breaks and was available on their website.[3] It was featured on the DVDs of the series that came bundled with the toys.
