Connect-Tek is one of the three main sublines in the 2015 Latin American Max Steel product line along with Battle-Tek and Transform-Tek. The packaging of the 2015 products categorized under this subline feature yellow coloring on the packaging. The logo features an angular yellow-colored font with the letter "O" featuring a hexagon connected to it. Action figures incorporating the Connect-Tek gimmick are designed with hexagonal ports on their bodies, allowing customers to personalize each figure by attaching a variety of interchangeable accessories.
Following 2015, the Connect-Tek gimmick was implemented in nearly every product of the Max Steel toy line, saving for some 12" toys, 6" toys and roleplay items. In 2016, the logo was changed slightly, becoming smaller and less pronounced in the packaging of the toys. It was usually placed below a small picture of the toy in the front area of the packaging. It went through a slight redesign, with the "Tek" portion of the logo placed below the word "Connect". For the 2017 and later years, the logo was placed on the lower area of the box next to the name of the toy and was redesigned. It became black and used a different angular font with black details on the top and bottom area of the logo.
For the 2016 animated films, the series introduced a technological device with the same name as the subline. It was the central focus of the film Team Turbo.
Description[]
Connect-Tek action figures feature hexagonal ports, usually present on the forearms, legs and back of the toy. Some action figures may have more ports than usual, such as Saw Ripper Dread, Aqua Armor Max Steel or Flight Max Steel for example. The accessories the toys came with feature pegs, allowing them to be connected to said hexagonal ports. Some acessories may have additional hex ports, allowing further customization. Figures with larger proportions, such as villains or Max's modes, usually have more ports.

- During the first half of 2015, all boxes of Connect-Tek toys featured an illustration of Max using Turbo Base Mode equipped with various weapons, regardless of the fact if the product portrayed Max or a villain. In the second half of the same year, the illustrations of the toys were changed to represent their respective toys.
- Additionally, the Brazilian box feature the quote "Combine and switch ... to create your own Max!" regardless of the fact it was a villain or a Max Steel action figure.
- There are few accessories in this line that aren't compatible with any other figures, like Ocean Mutant Extroyer's shark head.
