Commander Forge Ferrus, referred simply as Forge or Ferrus, is the commander and one of the co-founders of N-Tek alongside Jim McGrath, Miles Dread and Molly McGrath. Forge played a key role during the first and second seasons, acting as a mentor towards Maxwell McGrath and Steel. He constantly tried to hid the truth of Max and Steel's past, and secretly wanted to protect Earth from an alien invasion. He is also Max's uncle and Molly's brother. Forge debuted in Come Together Part One and is voiced by Michael Dobson.
History[]
Early Life[]
Nothing is known about Forge's early life prior to N-Tek's creation.
After Planet Takion’s destruction, Ja'em Mk'rah and Steel went to Earth and along with Molly McGrath, Miles Dread and Forge Ferrus, they founded N-Tek: an organization created with the purpose of stopping Makino and his armada of Ultralinks. The group started to develop projects to stop the villain, such as the Project Morphos, a creature with shapeshifting powers, though they decided to not use it due to its immense power , and the Turbo Star, a weapon capable of turning its user into a living weapon made out of T.U.R.B.O. Energy, which they opted to use.
During the first Ultralink invasion, Ferrus and Molly commanded N-Tek’s forces to take on the alien creatures, but they were quickly outnumbered. They decided to release their secret weapon: Ja’em and Steel, who successfully fended off Makino’s Ultralinks and saved the day.
Afterwards, the group continued with the development of the Turbo Star. Unknown to them, Dread had developed a a siphoning device to harness T.U.R.B.O. Energy for his own gain. During the test, he uses the device and causes a massive explosion, sending Jim to space, shutting down Steel and leaving him with horrifying consequences. After the incident, the group misled that Jim and Dread were killed and decided to create a hologram for the former with Steel in his dormant state as an homage to their late partner. Molly resigned from the organization and Ferrus became the commander of the organization. He later on split the Turbo Star into three pieces, and hid them into three different locations so no one would find them.[1]

When Mortum attacked N-Tek's Daedelus Platform, Forge, alongside with Kat Ryan, Jefferson Smith, Jim McGrath and other Soldiers, tried to stop the villain, but he was knocked down after Mortum released a strong energy wave. He was captured by Mortum and tortured by him.
Later on, when Max and his Team Turbo invades Mortum's lair, they freed all N-Tek agents, including Forge.
Abilities[]
Personality[]
- This section is under construction. Help Max Steel Reboot Wiki by expanding it.
Level-headed, down-to-earth and tough, Ferrus commands N-Tek and highly respects its agents. Like Molly, he constantly tried to hide the truth of Max and Steel’s past, which mostly would make him come out as harsh and dishonest towards them, though he genuinely cares for them.
Appearance[]
Forge is a tall adult man with a muscular body type. He has black hair, unshaven beard and wears a dark green and grey full bodysuit with green accents. He often appears wearing a battle damaged N-Tek breastplate along with white shoulder pads. He wears brown fingerless gloves, white and green knee pads and black boots with light grey soles. As of Earth Under Siege Part Two, Forge's left arm was eaten by a Centipede Link and he gained black, green and white robotic arm.

Trivia[]
- In a video for dating sites he states that he likes long walks on the beach and reality shows.[2]
- Forge gained a robotic arm after a Centipede Link ate it. This makes him more akin to his original counterpart.
- Forge has a similar physical appearance compared to his classic counterpart and retains his authoritarian attitutide towards Max, although that in the new series this trait was toned down.
- While under control of an Evil Ultralink, his physical appearence was similiar to that of the classic Makino.
- Although Forge does not have powers, he was introduced on the toy line. He is the third hero to have action figures released, with the first being Max Steel and the second being C.Y.T.R.O.. As of 2014, no action figures were made for him.
- In Supermania, he mentioned that he used to read comic books as a kid.
- A running gag on the first and second seasons was that Ferrus would say "What in the blazes?", "Mother of Mars!" or "Aw, crud" when something went wrong.
