The Centipede Links (unofficial name) are a group of recurring minor villains in Max Steel. They are created when an unknown Ultralink subspecies bonds with an unknown creature resembling an earwig. They debuted in Earth Under Siege Part Two.
History[]
Season 1[]
Earth Under Siege Part Two[]
Maxwell, Steel and Forge are greeted by a Centipede Link after they successfully infiltrate a Makino Destroyer. Max activates Turbo Strength Mode to fight the creature and manages to temporarily knock it down for a couple of seconds. After it gets up, the Centipede Link attacks him with its tail, causing him to return to his Turbo Base Mode. He then uses Steel to channel large amounts of T.U.R.B.O. Energy and shoot it at the Ultralink, defeating it.
The Centipede Link attacks the trio after they defeated an improved Miles Dread.
Season 2[]
Full Metal Racket[]
A Centipede Link appears as a member of Metal Elementor's small Ultralink army. It heard him explain how he would turn them into a formidable force to subjugate Earth.
Lights, Camera, Max![]
A Centipede Link, a Bone Link, a Lizard Link and a Fighter Ultralink fight against Extroyer's gorilla form. The Centipede Link leaps at the villain and uses its tail to immobilize him while the Lizard Link attacks him. However, he manages to subdue the creature and uses his brute strength to kill it.
Abilities[]
- Superhuman Strength: Like other bonded Ultralinks, they are much stronger than an average individual, being a match for Max's Turbo Strength Mode and having enough power to temporarily immobilize Extroyer as a gorilla.
- Superhuman Speed: They are extremely agile and fast in battles.
- Superhuman Durability: They are incredibly durable, being capable of withstanding a powerful concentrated ray of T.U.R.B.O. energy.
- Unlimited Stamina: Centipede Links are capable of fighting for hours without needing to rest, as exemplified in Earth Under Siege Part Two.
- Weaponized Body: Centipede Links possesses a large and heavy tail that they use to knock down their enemies or immobilize them. Their mouths are filled with sharp fangs and they have clawed arms on the front of their bodies.
Weaknesses[]
- Durability Limit: As seen in Lights, Camera, Max!, a Centipede Link can be defeated using brute force. Extroyer, as a gorilla, attacked it with his fists multiple times, killing it.
Appearance[]
The Centipede Links are monstrous creatures bearing a resemblance to an earwig. They possess a brown segmented shell that covers their upper body and a faded yellow color for their skin. They have spiky protrusions on the top of their bodies, glowing red lights on the sides of their heads and five insect-like legs on each side of their bodies. They have an Ultralink shell on the forehead area, a mouth filled with sharp fangs, two preys on the lower section of their faces and two pincer claws protruding from the sides of their faces.
Personality[]
Centipede Links are aggressive, relentless, energetic, persistent and vicious creatures. Like other Evil Ultralinks, they fight for Makino's glory and blindly follow his orders.
