Bartholomew, better known as Butch, is one of the students at Copper Canyon High School. Butch was the bully of the school, mainly bothering Kirby Kowalski with the help of his two sidekicks, Dean and Jake. In the mid of Season 2, he gave up being a bully and eventually befriended Max, Kirby and Sydney Gardner. Butch debuted in Come Together Part One and is voiced by Brian Drummond.

History

Season 1

Come Together Part One

He and his gang were bullying Kirby but were interrupted by Max. They chased him on their bikes but were defeated by Max thanks to his new found T.U.R.B.O Energy.

Making the Grade

He and his gang made a mean "science experiment" for the science fair.

Season 2

Full Metal Racket

He and his gang competed in the battle of the bands as "The Lockerthugs", but lost to Max, Sydney, and Kirby's band "Turbofied". He later freaked out when Makino's forces attacked.

My Best Friend is an Ultralink

When he and his gang messed up Max, Sydney, and Kirby's science project, Dr. Thornhill reassigned Butch's group and reassigned him to Max's group. Later, Butch came back to Max's house, and Max figured out that Butch was mean because he just couldn't be his true self, and that he was a really good dancer. Then Butch's gang confronted Max, but Butch eventually refused to hurt Max. Then, he was linked by some Ultralinks on the run, along with Kirby and Sydney. Eventually though, with the help of Ven-Ghan, Max and Steel were able to unlink all three of their friends.

Appearance

Butch is a bulky student with an athletic body type and same stature as Max. He has brown hair with a pompadour, brown eyes and uses golden earrings. He wears a yellow polo shirt with the numbers "89" in white in the right part of his chest, blue jeans and white shoes. 

Butch's appearance and manners are also based on common portrayals of bullies in other TV shows.

Personality

Butch initially was very annoying and aggressive towards other students, especially Kirby. He was cocky, arrogant and rude.

In truth, Butch felt he couldn't be his true self when he was with his friends, like if other people couldn't know who he truly was. After he befriended Max, he became a better person by being more friendly. He also shows a big interest towards sports, especially football.

• Butch once mentioned in My Best Friend is an Ultralink that his mother is absent during most of the time because of her job.
• As seen in My Best Friend is an Ultralink, Butch enjoys to dance.
