- The director, Sean Sullivan, was also the director of Max Steel: Forces of Nature, and Max Steel: Countdown, both movies from the original series. In the 2013 series, he already directed Ultralink Invasion Part Two.
- This is the second episode where Extroyer drowns underwater.
- The worm-like creature that N-Tek was after in this episode is named Xenoshok, despite its actual name was never mentioned.
- At some point while fighting Extroyer's new Xenoshok form, a remixed version of the season 2 opening can be heard playing on the background.
