Team Turbo[]
Max and Alex's teams were playing soccer, with the latter's team having the upper arm. After scoring a goal, the crowd screams Alex's nickname, La Fiera, and he brags about his abilities to Max. Their match is interrupted by pieces of the Daedelus Platform falling on the field. A piece was about to fall on Alex, but Max saves his life by pushing him. He asks him if he was okay, but before Alex could answer, he pushes Max and saves him. McGrath thanks him and introduces himself and Alex does the same thing. Max then leaves while Alex helps other civilians. He spots moving pieces from Jim McGrath's Connect-Tek Sword, which caught his attention. He inspects the pieces and realizes that they were heading somewhere.
Alex places the sword pieces in a jar and uses it to guide him. Using his motorcycle, he ends up at the Ice Box, where he is found by Max Steel, Rayne Martinez and C.Y.T.R.O., who were armed-up thinking that a potential threat was approaching the base. Suddenly, the Elementors, sent by Professor Mortum, approach the Ice Box. Max and the others get inside of the base and he closes the blast doors, but the villains manage to get inside. After temporarily escaping from the Elementors, Max asks Alex if he had brought them, of which he denies and shows the jar containing the sword pieces, revealing that he was just following them. He accidentally drops the jar, breaking it and causing the pieces to merge and complete the Connect-Tek sword. A door opens, revealing the chamber with the Connect-Tek device. The Elementors reach the group, but they get inside of the chamber.
The Elementors attempt to break into the room while Alex and Rayne attempt to convince Max to activate the Connect-Tek. While initially reluctant, Max decides to use it and tells Alex, Rayne and C.Y.T.R.O. to create armors. He powers up the device, creating Team Turbo. With his Turbo Tiger Mode, Alex, now La Fiera, fights Earth Elementor. With Max and his team distracted, Fire Elementor manages to sneak into the Ice Box and successfully steals the Connect-Tek. La Fiera and Tempestra rush to recover the device, but are ultimately defeated. Shortly after Max and Team Turbo's defeat, Toxzon, also sent by Mortum, appears and steals the Connect-Tek for himself and escapes. Max, blaming himself for endangering the lives of innocent civilians, decides to go after Toxzon's henchmen.
Max successfully obtains the Connect-Tek, but ends up unconscious in a lake after a battle against Toxzon. He is rescued by C.Y.T.R.O. and is then reunited with Team Turbo. Their reunion is interrupted by Extroyer, Toxzon and Elementors, who team up to take down Max and his team. He charges La Fiera, C.Y.T.R.O. and Tempestra with T.U.R.B.O. Energy and they fight against the villains. Alex engages in combat against Extroyer in his black tiger form. With his strength, La Fiera manages to defeat the villain. He then assists Max, Tempestra and C.Y.T.R.O. in defeating Mega-Elementor.
They commemorate their victory over the villains and Max reveals his identity to La Fiera, who jokes about it. Mortum, as a hologram, shows up and uses his Transdimensional Energy to steal the Connect-Tek container from Max's hands. Luckily, they had snuck a piece of the Connect-Tek sword onto the container, allowing them to track down Mortum's hideout. The villain escapes via teleportation, but plants bombs in Jim, Molly and Kat. Max is unable to destroy the bombs thanks to a shield, but Steel quickly discovers that three generators were powering it up. Max sends out his team to destroy them. After doing so, Max slashes the bombs in half and commemorates their victory over Mortum along with Team Turbo.
Team Turbo Fusion-Tek[]
During patrol, Max, Alex, Rayne and C.Y.T.R.O. spotted thieves stealing money from a bank. To stop them, Max and his team go Turbo, with Alex transforming into Turbo Tiger Mode. They chase after the thieves, who split up. La Fiera goes after a thief and successfully stops him like the rest of Team Turbo. After their defeat, the citizens of Copper Canyon cheer the heroes.
Alex, Max, Rayne and C.Y.T.R.O. later hang out. He spots a hot dog vendor and buys a hot dog. While eating it, he brags about his abilities, claiming that he did most of the job capturing the thieves and states that he should be a solo act. Max then comments that him and Steel were thinking about new Turbo Modes for them, causing Alex and Rayne to feel excited. Their talk is interrupted after they spot a strange figure wandering the streets. Max tries to talk with the individual, who is revealed to be the hot dog vendor from earlier albeit mutated. Alex feels uneasy and vomits the hot dog that he was eating. Shortly after, a horde of zombie-like creatures begin to approach the group.
Max and Team Turbo activate their Turbo Modes, with La Fiera going Turbo Tiger. He fights using his full force, though Max advises him to hold back as they are civilians. After fighting against more zombies, La Fiera is caught off guard by a zombie, who begins to consume his brainwaves. Tempestra saves him and helps him, jokingly asking him if he still wanted to be a solo act. Suddenly, the zombies stop attacking and open their mouths to send the brain energy to an unknown location, allowing Max and his team to track down whoever was after the infection.
Max and Team Turbo head to Mortum's hideout, where he was attempting to transform his nephew into a zombie. Tempestra attacks Mortum by electrocuting him, La Fiera slashes him with his claws and C.Y.T.R.O. vaporizes him with an energy ray. Max approaches Mortum's nephew to ask him if he was okay and give more detail about what they had fought against. He reveals that it was Mortum, who had mutated into a robot zombie, and explains his motives. Afterwards, Mortum recreates himself, transforming into a centipede-like abomination. La Fiera pounces at Mortum and uses his strength to dismember him, though he quickly recreates his lost members, claiming he couldn't be killed.
Turbo-Charged[]
Alongside Max and the rest of Team Turbo, La Fiera invaded an abandoned warehouse in hopes of finding hostages. However, they discover it was a trap set by someone. Various cubes begin to emerge from the ground, which depower Max and Team Turbo after they try to fend them off. Unconscious, La Fiera, Tempestra and C.Y.T.R.O. are placed inside containers while a masked individual tortures Max to obtain a portion of his energy. After obtaining it, he commands his masked allies to electrocute Team Turbo, causing them to wake up. Angered, Max nearly goes supernova and releases an extremely powerful T.U.R.B.O. energy shockwave that destroys the electronic devices on the room, causing a massive explosion.
After the incident, Alex, Rayne and C.Y.T.R.O. hide at an abandoned subway station where their new hideout was located. After Max arrives, they enter their base and Max begins to train his new green powers. Thanks to Rayne's efforts, they find the individual who supposedly had set the trap for them: Dr. Prometheus Halifax, a billionaire who founded the Halifax Industries. Max and his team decide to investigate, but before doing so, Steel introduces them to the newly created Steel-Tek gear. La Fiera and the others gain new armors made to be adapted with Max's new green T.U.R.B.O. energy.
The group head to the Halifax Industries Building, with Alex and Max infiltrating the lower part of the construction while Rayne and C.Y.T.R.O. investigate the top. Max and La Fiera meet Prometheus, who reveals himself to be the one who stole Max's energy. After injecting himself with Terror Energy, a synthesized version of Max's blue energy, onto himself, he mutates into a monster and renames himself to "Terrorax". La Fiera and Max engage in combat with Terrorax, although they are easily overpowered by him. Tempestra and C.Y.T.R.O. later interfere in their battle, but they are defeated as well. As such, Max and Team Turbo are forced to retreat.
Back in their base, Steel discovers that Terrorax had set up three Terror Energy emitters in three different locations. Team Turbo head to said locations, but instead of finding the emitters, they are greeted by the newly formed "Team Terror". La Fiera faces Snare, an assassin robot equipped with various weapons and traps. The hero is restrained by the robot's energy lash, but he manages to break free by creating Turbo Raptor Mode, allowing him to defeat Snare with ease. After Team Turbo deal with the rest of Team Terror, they head to Terrorax's Hideout, whose location was found by Steel after he messaged Team Turbo to talk about Team Terror.
At Terrorax's hideout, Max and Team Turbo interfere with Terrorax's plans of deactivating Copper Canyon's power, but he sends out Team Terror to deal with them. La Fiera fights against the agile Night Howl, a mechanically enhanced predator. Meanwhile, Terrorax succeeds in deactivating the power of the city. La Fiera defeats Night Howl by kicking him into a wall, causing him to faint. After the rest of Team Turbo defeat Team Terror, they distract Terrorax while Max uses his powers to reactivate the technology at Copper Canyon. After doing so, Terrorax releases a powerful energy shockwave that takes down Team Turbo.
Eventually, Terrorax is defeated by Max an his base begins to self-destruct. Max and his team escape from the base with Team Terror and the Terror Energy Generator. While heading back to their base, Alex questions Max if it was the last time they dealt with the Nexus organization. He denies, despite remaining optimistic about his new power.
